My style is direct, grounded, and attuned, offering a space that is both supportive and focused, where meaningful work can unfold.
Alongside trauma work, I support athletes and creatives in clearing blocks, accessing flow, and performing with clarity and confidence.

You're not just stressed — you're worn down from functioning in survival mode. You may look fine on the outside, but inside you feel on edge, shut down, or emotionally flat.
You've likely tried therapy or self-help already and are frustrated that understanding hasn't changed how your body reacts.
What makes this different: I'm both a therapist and a Registered Practical Nurse. I understand how chronic stress shows up physically — in your sleep, digestion, immune system, and pain levels. We work with your whole system, not just your thoughts.

As a couples therapist, I help partners move out of cycles of disconnection to a place where they feel seen, supported, and understood. I also work with individuals, families, and youth —both virtually and in person—creating a supportive space to slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin building healthier patterns of connection. Together, we focus on clarity, healing, and meaningful change.

I am a certified Somatic Therapy Foundations Practitioner and have a certificate in Somatic Attachment Therapy.
Are you are a woman who's strong, capable, and appears to have it all “together” — but internally you feel overextended, or unseen in your relationships.
Many women I work with are highly capable, and independent. But the qualities that help them be successful at work are killing their relationships. At home you might have the impulse to continue making all the decisions on your own, you're afraid to let go of control and unable to rest.
This is not a character flaw. It is a nervous system shaped by attachment experiences and a mind shaped by beliefs and misconceptions about the opposite sex.

Many adults come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, or questioning how past experiences shaped who they are today. I support individuals exploring childhood experiences, relational trauma, burnout, people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, grief, and other overwhelming life experiences that may be keeping them in survival mode.
I also work with couples navigating communication difficulties, conflict, emotional disconnection, intimacy, and attachment, helping partners build safer, more secure, and intentional relationships.

How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
