Hi, hello - welcome! My goal is to give you more than a therapy space, but also a place where you get to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore what feels true to you. Therapy with me isn’t about rushing or fixing; it’s about walking alongside you at your pace, with curiosity, care, and compassion. Your goals, your pace, your story — this is the motto behind my therapy at Mindful With You
I aim to show up as someone who feels easy to talk to — someone who listens deeply, values your story, and meets you exactly where you are. You dont have to have the right words or know where to start. We’ll figure that out together.

Survivors of narcissistic abuse, sexual trauma, and chronic invalidation often feel lost in their own lives, unsure of who they are without the roles they've been forced to play, struggle with people-pleasing, setting boundaries, or trusting themselves after years of emotional or psychological manipulation.
As an experienced psychotherapist, I offer more than just a place to talk. I offer a space where you can safely unravel the impact of trauma, reconnect with your inner strength, and rebuild your life with clarity and intention. My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and deeply relational.

Many of our clients come to us feeling stuck in patterns, relationships, or ways of relating to themselves that no longer feel aligned. Often, these patterns are rooted in earlier experiences, including trauma, that continue to shape how we think, feel, and respond in our day-to-day lives. We offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore what’s underneath these patterns. Our therapists work collaboratively with clients to build awareness, process experiences, and support meaningful, lasting change. We are a diverse team trained in a range of modalities, allowing us to meet clients where they are.

Do you often find yourself being strong for everyone else while your own needs go unseen? Clients often come feeling stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, self-doubt, or navigating toxic relationships, shaped by childhood experiences, cultural pressures, or generational trauma. I bring a unique perspective, having worked with men and women in federal prisons across Ontario and facilitating a 12-week psycho-educational group for men charged with intimate partner violence (IPV). Many clients I work with are healing from generational trauma, emotional neglect, and complex family dynamics.

You’re holding a lot. You don’t have to hold it alone anymore.
If you’re here, chances are you’re tired of surviving and ready to start living differently.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship strain, emotional overwhelm, and the quiet inner voice that says, “I’m not enough.” Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally exhausted - caregivers, professionals, parents, peacemakers - people who carry responsibility well but struggle to extend that same compassion to themselves.

I help people navigate major life transitions and reconnect with themselves in a more authentic way. My work supports individuals who are ready to understand their patterns, reclaim their voice, and step into a new chapter of self-trust and confidence. So often, the biggest obstacle isn’t the event itself—it’s the story we tell ourselves about it. “I’m not good enough.” “Someone else is always doing better.” “Why do I have to do all the work?” These thoughts can feel true, but they often come from old experiences or unhealed patterns that keep repeating.

My clients are often navigating grief, loss, or major life transitions, including the impact of illness such as cancer—whether their own or a loved one’s. Many are high-functioning but feel internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are right now. I also support those navigating immigration and the tension of belonging, as well as weight and health-related experiences that can feel deeply personal and stigmatized. Relationship challenges—romantic, family, and interpersonal—are often part of this work. Together, we make sense of these experiences and reconnect with a more grounded, meaningful sense of self.

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Counsellors
What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.
How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.
Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.
How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
