Life can be challenging. When something throws us for a loop, our usual coping strategies may not be enough and we find ourselves feeling lost, afraid or unsure of what to do & how to manage. If you are experiencing a crisis or major life transition such as job loss, diagnosis of illness or chronic health condition, relationship crises (i.e., infidelity, abuse, separation), psychotherapy and clinical counselling can help you regain your bearings and cultivate novel coping strategies to get you back on your feet. As an EMDR trained therapist, I also offer this valuable therapy for healing from trauma and distressing experiences.

To me, therapy is about giving each individual client the space and support they need to process and work through what is plaguing their minds, hearts, and bodies. Some problems can seem impossible to manage, but these may simply require more time and more help to break the larger issues down into smaller, more achievable pieces, and to figure out what can be done—that’s where I come in. While I’m not there to dictate what to do or how to do it, it can be helpful to have someone present who wants to listen and understand, and who has evidence-based tools to help guide your healing journey, while also walking it alongside you.

Welcome. Taking the first step to find support can feel vulnerable, and I’m glad you’re here. Being human is complex—made even more so by the rapid pace and pressure of 21st-century life. While technology connects us, it can also make it harder to truly feel seen, focused, and connected. I support individuals and couples with relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I have additional experience in menopause, ADHD, and neurodivergence. My approach is collaborative, grounded in Psychodynamic and Emotionally Focused Therapy, with a strong focus on relationships, meaning, and emotional resilience.

Hello! My name is Fatima, and I'm open to working with anyone and everyone seeking support. I offer a space that feels safe, real, and non-judgmental, where you can show up as you are. I value empathy, honesty, and cultural humility, tailoring therapy to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach—some want more guidance, while others want more room to explore; I'm here for both. I tend to mirror clients so they feel understood, and I strive to meet each person where they're at. I see therapy as a joint effort: you choose the direction, and I'll support, reflect, and help you make sense of what comes up along the way.

They say our greatest weakness lies in giving up! We have all been there. My name is Maria Veronica Caracciolo, and I decided that if life was going to be a monster, I would become its greatest “warrior” and teach others to do the same. Too often we use our armour to hide our inner selves, rather than see it as our strength which only comes from taking a risk, facing our fears, taking a step forward, and learning that every battle is won with wisdom. I am here to empower you to take that chance on yourself — your mind is a powerful force, but you are its master!

***ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS: IN-PERSON & PHONE/VIDEO*** We believe that there is good in every person, and hope in every situation. We have helped individuals, couples, and families heal, grow, and connect. As relational therapists, we appreciate the impact that our relationships have on our well-being. We do not see clients as having something wrong with their minds that necessarily needs to be fixed. Rather, we see our clients as unique individuals, each with their own stories and perspectives, embedded in important relationships and contexts that impact them. We see strengths and we see hope, even when it feels like there is none.

I believe that thinking outside of our literal reality allows us to see the world through a more creative lense and find alternate ways of dealing with our problems. As a result, I use the Expressive Arts as a tool for therapy. Being a first generation immigrant from a mixed heritage, I have a deep understanding of the unique needs of those of diverse backgrounds living in the GTA.

Are you a high-functioning adult who appear capable on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns? Many struggle with people-pleasing, burnout, low self-worth, attachment wounds, codependency, or difficulty setting boundaries. They often carry too much for others and have lost touch with their own needs. Together, we explore the root of these patterns, build emotional awareness, strengthen boundaries, and create healthier, more secure relationships.

There can be extremely challenging and stressful times in life that can lead to difficult emotions. These can be hard to express to other people or even ourselves, which can sometimes even prolong the pain that we sit in. During our sessions, I will help provide a warm, non-judgmental and compassionate space. I want you to feel supported in your journey, as well as safe in being able to express any thoughts or feelings that you hold.

Hi, I’m Maddie, a trauma-informed psychotherapist who often works with people feeling stuck in anxiety, overwhelm, relationship patterns, or self-doubt. I believe people are often far more resilient than they realize, and I take a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their existing capacities. I aim to help my clients reach deeper emotional understanding, learn regulation tools, and make meaningful changes, so they can heal, grow, and live in greater alignment with their values. Essentially, I practice with the belief that clients already have what they need, and that together in therapy we will find it.

I am a Jungian Analyst. "Asma" translates to "names." During our meetings, we will work on recognizing your emotions as they may arise and name them. Your sessions with me will assist you not only in understanding and integrating your inner life, but also in healthier adaptation to the outer life. It happens as one engages in developing a deeper and wholesome sense of one's self.

We all come from different walks of life, each of us carrying a unique story. Being unique means that we also bring different outlooks on the world, which deserve to be appreciated in their own light. As a therapist, I see my role as someone who walks alongside you, never telling you how to feel, but helping you explore how life experiences shape our feelings and worldview. Through this, I aim to support you to navigate the world with greater confidence and insight into yourself.
