You're the one who holds it all together, until you can't anymore. Maybe you've lost touch with who you are because so much of your energy goes into managing others' emotions, staying 'strong', or keeping the peace. You might feel emotionally blocked, burnt out, or constantly at war with yourself. You're not broken, you've adapted. But you're ready to explore what's underneath it all, make space for your own needs, and feel like yourself again ... even if you don't fully know who that is yet.

For over 30 years, I have worked in the field of mental health, supporting individuals through grief, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, relationships, and emotional healing. I am the sole owner and operator of Mindfulness Therapy Services and a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), based in Burlington.
My work is deeply informed not only by professional training, but by lived experience. Like many people, I have experienced profound grief, loss, and major life transitions. I have said goodbye to people and places that once shaped my sense of identity and belonging.

Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in cycles of self-doubt, or emotionally drained by expectations from family, culture, or relationships? On the outside, you may appear to be managing — but internally, things feel heavy, confusing, or exhausting. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this on your own. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and identity-related stress particularly when cultural, faith-based, or family expectations add another layer of pressure.

My clients are often navigating grief, loss, or major life transitions, including the impact of illness such as cancer—whether their own or a loved one’s. Many are high-functioning but feel internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are right now. I also support those navigating immigration and the tension of belonging, as well as weight and health-related experiences that can feel deeply personal and stigmatized. Relationship challenges—romantic, family, and interpersonal—are often part of this work. Together, we make sense of these experiences and reconnect with a more grounded, meaningful sense of self.

For couples, I offer EFT and more intensive treatments for couples on the brink of divorce.
People come see me when they've been struggling for a while or if problems have recently come to a head.
I work with adults, adolescents (15+) and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and relationship difficulties, among other mental health problems.
Some clients have been in therapy before, but felt like it just scratched the surface. Others are coming for the first time, unsure what to expect. But most people come in with a sense that something is not right and that needs to change.
Together, we explore and understand problem thoughts, emotions and behaviours, aiming to build strategies for lasting change.
