Anxiety, Panic, Obsessive Thoughts - these experiences can make you feel helpless and alone. Having provided counselling and therapy for over 12 years, I have seen how common the experience of having “anxiety about the anxiety” is. I am passionate about helping people to understand how anxiety/mood issues operate, the grip they form on you, and how to begin to heal. I am also dedicated to helping those who suspect they are struggling with a narcissist in their life. I strive to help clients understand how this negative pattern of behaviour is impacting them and how to start protecting themselves.

You’re holding a lot. You don’t have to hold it alone anymore.
If you’re here, chances are you’re tired of surviving and ready to start living differently.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship strain, emotional overwhelm, and the quiet inner voice that says, “I’m not enough.” Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally exhausted - caregivers, professionals, parents, peacemakers - people who carry responsibility well but struggle to extend that same compassion to themselves.

Reaching out is a meaningful first step. This is a space for reflection, growth, and support.
When the unexpected happens, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to cope. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own thoughts and worries that it feels impossible to see a way forward, and it can be overwhelming to face it all ourselves. Together, we can identify what is preventing you from living a fulfilling life. You want a trusted professional who can help you navigate your concerns with compassion, understanding, and actionable tools to create meaningful and lasting change.

You’re holding it together on the outside, but inside it’s a different story. Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just plain stuck. Sometimes, you don’t need advice—you just need someone to talk to who really listens. In therapy, there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. We slow things down, explore what’s really going on, and make space for your emotions—messy, loud, quiet, or confusing. We’ll unpack what’s been weighing you down and gently move toward what brings you relief, clarity, and purpose. If you're ready for real conversations and meaningful change, I’m here for it.

I work with narcissistic abuse and complex trauma because generic advice "just set boundaries" won't solve your situation.

You'll get tools you can use today to navigate the chaos, while we dig into the deeper patterns keeping you stuck. Life is filled with many challenges. We all use coping mechanisms that appear to make sense for these challenges. Sometimes these coping mechanisms stop working or cause us other difficulties when they are used for longer periods of time. I provide a safe and comfortable environment in which we can work together to develop skills and strategies that lead to change that can be maintained over the long-term. I am trained to offer Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and have facilitated many treatment groups using these techniques. Mindfulness groups currently on hold.

Or perhaps your story has left you feeling ineffective, overwhelmed and insecure. My ideal clients are motivated to write new chapters in their lives, and it's my sincere honour to be able to support them on their journey.

What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.
How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.
Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.
How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
