We learn how to be in this world and be a person from the moment we are born. When we are struggling, suffering, and facing challenges in our lives - whether it is anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, overwhelm, or things we wish we could change - it’s because we've adopted ways of being that are now habits that can be difficult to alter. But we are whole, just as we are! We grow in changing how we respond to ourselves and the experiences and events in our lives. Having someone to walk alongside you on the journey as you learn which habits or outdated beliefs no longer work can support you as you make changes.

My name is Olivia, and I work with college and university students, as well as young professionals, who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. Maybe you’re stressed about grades, job interviews, or whether you’re making the “right” decision. Maybe you’re drained from trying to balance school, work, friendships, family, and figuring out who you are. Overthinking, low motivation, or taking on too much can leave you running on empty. This stage of life can be exciting, but it can also feel like a lot. I help people through this season find more balance, confidence, and breathing room. Now accepting new clients!

We complete neuropsychological assessments to help families and schools understand how medical conditions (e.g., hydrocephalus, acquired brain injuries (ABI), epilepsy, stroke, or exposure to drugs and alcohol before birth) impact a child’s brain development and their thinking and learning skills. The results from a neuropsychological assessment can help understand why a child is struggling to learn and what support they need to succeed in school and everyday activities. A neuropsychological assessment can also be helpful to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD or LD.

Therapy is a space to slow things down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and feel more like yourself again. I work with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or impacted by difficult life experiences, and who want support navigating emotions, relationships, identity, and stress. My practice is integrative and body-focused, blending talk therapy with somatic approaches to help you notice patterns and respond to challenges with more clarity and choice. I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is helpful for processing trauma and distressing life experiences.

Life can be heavy, complicated, and filled with contradictions. My style of therapy focuses on Behavioural Approaches, leaning heavily on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). These styles support you in identifying patterns in behaviours which are not serving you, and build new skills and strategies to unhook.
I work with Individuals, Families, and Couples. Many of my clients are living with the impacts of trauma exposure, live with major mental illness, are living through grief and bereavement, or are caregivers.

Taking the first step toward therapy is an important and courageous decision. After 30 years in the field, I am still inspired by the bravery of my clients.
I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership—built on attunement, respect, and collaboration. I consider myself a guide rather than an authority. Therapy is a dynamic process where both you and I are involved in its creation. I invite change, rather than impose or force it. This allows you the space to reclaim your voice in the healing process.

I hold a specialized degree in Thanatology, the study of death, loss, grief, and bereavement. Over time, I’ve come to understand that grief extends far beyond the loss of a loved one—it can emerge through life transitions, identity shifts, relationship changes, and the countless moments that challenge our sense of stability and self.
My practice is rooted in compassion, connection, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I use a holistic, trauma-informed approach integrating the mind, body, and soul. I believe that growth and transformation occur when we feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Life can be hard. We're here to help. Struggling? Stuck? Overwhelmed? Looking for help moving forward? We can support you in moving toward your goals. We have experience in providing both brief and longer-term treatment that is evidence-based (i.e., shown to work). We're less interested in labels or in figuring out what’s “broken”, and instead focus on helping you to feel centred and "on track". We try to help you within your timeframe. We see the psychologist and client both as “real people”, having “real” conversations, about “real life”, to make real changes and real movement toward goals that are really important to you.

You may be the person everyone depends on - the one who keeps things moving at work, supports your family, and rarely slows down long enough to care for yourself. Or perhaps you and your partner have found yourselves having the same arguments, feeling more like roommates than a couple, or wondering how you became so disconnected. I work with adults experiencing burnout, anxiety, and overwhelm, as well as couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect. Helping overwhelmed adults and disconnected couples find their way back to themselves - and to each other.
