Many of the women I work with are in midlife navigating life transitions: career changes, relationship shifts, care giving, divorce, menopause, or simply the sense that what used to work no longer does.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I draw from ACT, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness. I’m also trained as a life coach, allowing us to pair insight with forward movement and realistic goals. Together, we focus on small, intentional shifts that lead to meaningful transformation and help you feel more grounded and aligned.

In addition to my Masters of Social Work and a BA in Psychology, I am trained in EMDR, IFS, coaching, emotional eating, chronic dieting, bingeing and sugar/food addictions and the Enneagram.
My areas of expertise include: Sugar and food addictions, body image, weight issues, codependency, boundaries and relationship issues, and decluttering. Since these are often rooted in trauma, we can use EMDR and IFS to help. My happiest clients tend to be middle-aged women who struggle with food, eating, and weight and want to make some changes. Together, we uncover patterns and behaviours that keep us stuck and I use gentle accountability and teach self-compassion to move clients into lasting changes. Sometimes the amount of 'stuff' we have in our lives is overwhelming; I want to help you see things clearly to make last changes.

My goal is to help you make proactive, aligned choices that lead to a more fulfilling and balanced quality of life.
I am dedicated to supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, uncertainty, and a deep sense of dissatisfaction in their lives. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when emotional distress begins to cloud your sense of direction, disconnects you from your values, or leaves you questioning who you truly are. My role is to create a safe, grounding, and compassionate space where you can explore these experiences without judgment and begin to rediscover the clarity and confidence that may feel out of reach.

Your child may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, withdrawn, or struggling with school, friendships, or big life changes.
I support youth age 10–18 through a relationship-based, strengths-focused Child & Youth Care approach. My work centers on building trust, emotional safety & practical coping skills in an intentionally warm, calm, and non-clinical space, more like sitting in a living room than an office, moving at their pace, with care that feels respectful & supportive.

You hold everything together. You care for others. And somewhere along the way, you start to feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. I work with women and young adults navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, trauma, addiction, and relationship stress. Therapy can be a space to exhale, feel what’s been buried, name what’s been confusing, and begin to reconnect with your voice, body, and story.

As a Spiritual Purpose and Mindset Coach, I will help you to examine what is getting in the way of achieving your goal while shifting your mindset and finding deeper meaning and purpose for all life experiences.
Life coaching is my approach but clients say their work with me has therapeutic benefits. I have a strong spiritual approach, believe in energy and that we all have the ability to shift our mindset to find greater meaning and purpose. What is the origin story of that thought or belief? Where did you learn that? Are you ready to let that story go?

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
