Angela is the founder of Evolve Counselling and Assessment Services. Angela's journey in mental health started 22 years ago when she studied honours in Psychology and Masters in Clinical Psychology 1. Her Clinical training was is Psychoanalysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She assisted people exhibiting symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of sexual assault, car hijacking, and other presenting concerns. Angela has extensive experience coaching employees living with mental health disabilities manage their triggers and cope within various work settings.

Dr. Smolewska is a registered Psychologist in the areas of clinical psychology and neuropsychology, and provides psychological, psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors . You can request assessments for: neurodevelopmental difficulties, thinking and emotional difficulties related to perinatal complications, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, and psychiatric conditions. The Associates at the practice provide treatment services for a number of psychological and psychosocial issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, etc.).

My name is Rajni and I have been a practicing clinician for the last 8-years. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. The therapeutic modalities I primarily use are Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy and Mindfulness. My passion and work is centered around creating healing spaces where folks can feel supported and not alone in their mental health journeys. The path of recovery looks different for everyone, and it is my goal to help individuals discover what that might look like for them.

My intention for you, as a therapist, is to be with you with compassion and skill to help you through life's difficult times and to help you reach your greater potential. Most of the clients I see are burdened by anxiety, depression, relationship problems and/or trauma. I have resources and strategies that address these all too common concerns.

I work with adult individuals and male/female couples (premaritally and maritally). I specialize in attachment, emotional maturation, and trauma recovery with individuals. I also do a sizeable amount of out-patient addictions recovery or relapse prevention work with men. Maritally, I often work from an Emotionally Focused approach. In Christian Counselling, I utilize The Life Model/Thrive/HeartSync/Immanuel process in understanding & assessing brain skills and trauma recovery needs.
