I bring particular expertise in eating disorders, neurodivergence (such as ADHD, autism, and OCD), mood (panic, anxiety, depression), and 2SLGBTQ communities.
In my work, self-determination and consent are centred. Grounded in anti-racism and anti-oppression, you will have space to explore the ways your context (identity, community, social systems) impacts your health and well-being. While I sometimes offer skills and resources, most often we will experiment with new ways of relating to your concerns in session.

“Child and Parent Specialist” Modern day parenting has become next to impossible, between busy schedules and environmental stressors, you feel lost and helpless. You find yourself yelling more than you want to, triggered and overwhelmed, you are not the parent you desire to be. Your child is sensitive, easily irritable, unable to regulate, maybe even aggressive. You are not alone. Children do not have the ability to self-regulate until they have experienced co-regulation - but no one taught us how to regulate. That's where I come in - to help regulate your own inner child so that you can show up better for your family.

I am always learning more about the complexity and layers of the mind, which allows me to help you navigate the complexity of life. I work with individual clients in an online setting and in-person at our Guelph office. I would describe my approach to therapy as a goal-oriented, solution-focused, evidence-based, person-centered framework.

Are you longing for healing but unsure where to start or how to move forward? Do you feel stuck—like no matter how hard you try, something keeps holding you back? Do you find it hard to fully show up in relationships, work, or even for yourself? Are you tired of pretending you’re okay when inside, you feel anything but?

We often minimize our own experiences, needs or desires and "push through" because we think we should. These learned strategies may have been integral to getting through certain stages of life, but can now be holding you back from connection, confidence, and satisfaction. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disengaged with your own voice, my aim is to help you foster understanding, self-compassion and co-construct unique, manageable strategies that free you up to respond to situations, and yourself, with greater confidence, clarity and authenticity; opening possibilities for a more fulfilling connection to yourself and others.

You feel like you should have it together… but everything feels kind of off. School stress, family tension, friendship drama, pressure to be something - and underneath it all, you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or just unsure of who you are or who you want to be.
If any of that feels familiar, you're not alone and you don't have to figure it out alone. I work with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, people-pleasing, identity, school stress, and life transitions.

Are you a queer, trans, or neurodivergent person dealing with the hurt of discrimination, rejection, or the feeling that folks around you just don’t understand? Maybe you struggle with trauma symptoms, dissociation, anxiety, depression, self-blame, or low self-worth. It can be hard to get up the courage to come to therapy only to feel like you have to explain the basics of your identity to your therapist. Worse yet, it can be scary to seek therapy when the field of psychology has historically tried to keep us from being our authentic selves.
