My therapeutic approach integrates insights from psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, mindfulness, and somatic (body) therapy.
Do you struggle with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, chronic pain, or OCD? Our emotional struggles can often accompany a disconnect between ourselves and others in our lives, and also between our minds and our emotions and bodies. When we do not feel whole we do not seem to be able to live fully and meaningfully within ourselves or in our relationships. You are not alone in this struggle. I can help you reconnect with yourself. We can work together to identify the underlying internal processes and address triggers to your difficulties to help you reach the change that you desire.

I offer psychotherapy services including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), inner child work, parts work/Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and somatic healing such as breathwork.
If you are a couple seeking to heal trauma, navigate your relationship or marriage, and begin to truly feel like yourselves again rather than a shell of who you once were, please reach out to me. Years of working with children and families has illuminated to me that the relationship between parents has a significant impact on the wellbeing of children. Common themes: difficulty connecting in relationships, managing relationships with NPD/BPD people, communicating with partners who shutdown, emotional regulation, managing relational conflict, family relationships, parenting, health, body image, intimacy, attachment.

Beginning from a person centered foundation, I use trauma-informed, attachment, somatic and mindfulness-based frameworks in my practice.

My role is to provide a counselling relationship that allows you to feel safe to share your experiences, feelings and thoughts. I offer a confidential space, support and feedback in order to help you to make the changes you identify. I am passionate about supporting people in building their capacity to connect with the wisdom of their body and emotions and to return to a felt sense of safety and connection to self.

I use world-class somatic counselling techniques to help you bypass obstacles, create relief, and go beyond to live the amazing life you're capable of
You know well the feeling of being "stuck" - stuck in your life, career, relationship. The main problem is, the longer you put things off, the more you get that nagging feeling that you've got to do something. I've been there. The first important way to get yourself out of this space is to imagine life when your problems are gone. You can imagine it now.

I operate from diverse modalities especially trauma informed care, somatic therapy, DBT and other modalities to help meet you where you are at.
Are you someone who struggles to balance between work and life responsibilities, feel the pressure of the world and your responsibilities on you, navigating through environments not having been seen or heard? If this is you, you have come to the right place. Whether your goals are to dedicate time for taking care of you, healthier coping tools and a place where you just want answers. In a world of disconnect, we are wired to function out of auto pilot for years not knowing the impacts it can have on our bodies and hearts. This is a space for you to gain re-ownership of your journey and captain of what you want that path to be.

I currently work from various modalities such as transpersonal psychology, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and internal family systems (parts work), to help you gain a deeper understanding of your strengths and increase resilience.
My ideal person to work with is one who has done some personal work already and is wanting to dive deeper. I am often sought out when people have been through the system and are looking for a more compassionate and empowering perspective than what is often offered. Without condoning or promoting the use of any substances, I do work from a harm reduction perspective and support prep and integration of psychedelic experiences as well as harm reduction coaching and consulting for microdosing. I do group ceremonies with breathwork and come from an anti-oppression framework.

I integrate the following: ACT, Narrative Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, EFT, Somatic and Nervous System focus, and Existential Therapy.
To me, therapy is a warm, comfortable space we build together; it’s an hour outside of your everyday life, a shared place we can process whatever needs to be processed from the safety of. Care, compassion, non-judgement, and a genuine therapeutic relationship are the foundations of our work together and are my main priorities. My focus is always holistic: we have to look at every layer - from the cues your body and nervous system are giving you to the systemic messages surrounding you - to reach not just the bandaids but the deeper roots of distress and, ultimately, growth. I work from an actively affirming and anti-oppressive lens.

I draw on Humanistic & Somatic therapies to provide integrative and wholistic support.
Are you tired of labels like “anxiety,” “depression,” “addiction,” "BPD," or “PTSD” and instead seek positive change, deeper self-understanding, and a desire to live more fully and authentically? Welcome. Many of my clients are looking for clarity, understanding, and connection—within themselves and in their relationships. Often, they are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, the lingering impact of childhood pains, or preparing for parenthood. I am a gentle and curious therapist, and I bring compassion, honesty, and a quality of stubbornness that I hope will be seen as an unfaltering commitment to your wellbeing.

I use an eclectic mix including psychodynamic, exploring how past shapes present; attachment theory, examining relational patterns; Jungian approach, delving into the psyche; somatic practices, connecting mind and body; and mindfulness, enhancing present awareness.
The stress of daily responsibilities, relationships, work, and emotions can feel overwhelming. Maybe you're starting a new job or navigating life in a new city and feeling out of place. Perhaps you’re stepping into or out of a relationship and feeling unsteady. Maybe you’re exhausted from always putting others first, asking yourself, “Who am I?” or “Where do I go from here?” Sometimes, it feels like everything is happening all at once. These moments of uncertainty can spark a longing to reconnect with your inner wisdom, explore deeper parts of yourself, and find clarity, direction, and peace.

How does somatic therapy work?

Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?

Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?

Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
