As a registered social worker, I take a trauma-informed, somatic approach — meaning we look at the whole picture, including what your body carries.
You are a woman who has spent years holding everything together — and somewhere along the way, lost the thread back to yourself. Maybe you are struggling with anxiety, low self-worth, or patterns you can't seem to break no matter how hard you try. Maybe life has shifted and you don't quite recognize yourself anymore. You don't need to be fixed. You need support that actually sees you. I work with women ready to understand what is driving their struggles, regulate their nervous system, and rebuild trust in themselves. Together we get to the root — not just the surface.

Using techniques like brainspotting, somatic, and focusing-oriented therapy, we go deeper into your subconscious, to release what is stuck.
You say yes when you mean no. You go over every text before sending. You sense the energy in every room before you've said hello, yet couldn't tell me what you need. From the outside you've got it together, the job, the relationship, the friend everyone calls at midnight. Inside you're running on empty. You've read the books and understand the concepts. But knowing doesn't always fix those exhausting patterns. Because they often rest in the body. And if the body has been on guard for a long time, it's still trying to protect you in the only way it knows how.

In therapy, I use a variety of modalities that incorporate CBT and DBT skills while working within a IFS framework and using somatic experiences.
When we struggle with mental health we disconnect with ourselves, others and the world. This can create a sense of loneliness and pain. Let’s work together to unravel the potential you hold and build a life that you love to live.

I use an integrative approach including CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, somatic approaches, and Exposure and Response Prevention for anxiety and OCD.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you have felt misunderstood, judged, or unseen in other spaces. You may be navigating anxiety, OCD, panic, questions around identity, relationships, or self worth. I work with clients seeking therapy that feels affirming, non judgmental, and grounded in emotional safety, where you do not need to explain or defend who you are in order to be supported.

You’ve been holding it together for everyone else, but lately it’s starting to feel heavy. Maybe you’ve noticed yourself snapping more easily, feeling disconnected from your partner, or struggling to quiet that constant inner critic.

You've come to the right place. As a neurodivergent therapist with ADHD, I bring both clinical training and lived experience to neuro-affirming care that meets you where you are, not where a one-size-fits-all model says you should be. Clients tell me they appreciate feeling understood, gaining insights that help them see things differently, and walking away with tools they can actually use in real life. I customize each session to your needs, whether you're looking for structured tools or space to process your emotions and behavioral patterns.

Using an integrative, evidence-based approach rooted in both cognitive and somatic therapies, I support both the mind and body in the healing process.
I specialize in grief, trauma, attachment, and relationship challenges. Grief can take many forms — the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, loss of ourself or changes in identity. I work with individuals navigating grief and trauma rooted in both childhood and adult experiences. I draw from modalities that include CPT, CFT, DBT, IFS, and EMDR.

The journey to parenthood isn't always straightforward. For many individuals and couples, fertility challenges can bring grief, uncertainty, stress, relationship strain, and feelings of isolation. These challenges can impact every aspect of life—your relationships, your sense of self, your hopes for the future, and your emotional well-being. But you don't have to navigate these experiences alone. My goal is to help you feel understood and supported as you walk through this chapter of your life, process your emotions/trauma, build resilience, and find ways to move forward with greater confidence and with self compassion.

Somatic Counsellors
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
