Are you new to therapy, and need a supportive, you-focused introduction to life-changing self-awareness? Maybe you've been doing therapy for years, but feel like something from the process is "missing"? Do you still feeling stuck, despite how many breathing exercises and positive self-talk you do? Struggling with childhood trauma, eating challenges, anxiety, grief (or all of the above?). Then let's talk! Using a combination of talk therapy, body-based somatics, critical reframing and psychoeducation, I work with individuals and clients to go DEEPER and get the support and results they're looking for.

My ideal client is someone ready to unlearn the roles, expectations, and beliefs that no longer serve them. They may feel stuck, anxious, disconnected, or constantly giving to others while neglecting themselves. They seek deeper meaning, self-understanding and a more authentic, fulfilling life. They're open to slowing down, exploring their emotions instead of suppressing them, and building boundaries that protect their peace, joy, and sense of self. I work with both adolescents and adults - and with over 12 years of experience as a high school teacher, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges adolescents face.

Now Accepting New Clients! Are you a hyper-independent, overthinking, perfectionistic human who is living in exhaustion and overwhelm? On paper, you’re thriving - but inside, it’s chronic anxiety, executive dysfunction, and emotional whiplash. You're burning out from toxic productivity, cycling between hyperfocus and shutdown, wondering if it’s ADHD or does everyone just feel this way? You beat yourself up for not doing enough, even when you’re dead tired. You tried the s.elf-care checklists-therapy, meds, journaling, yoga but nothing sticks. You know you “should” practice self-love, but your inner critic is so much louder

As mental health concerns rise, especially among what’s been called the 'anxious generation' (a term coined by Jonathan Haidt), the pressure to fit in isn’t just affecting Gen Z. In today’s cancel culture, where criticism can feel ever-present, the urge to align, say and do the 'right' thing, look a certain way, and show up as the best parent, partner, student, or employee has become a survival instinct. But living like this—constantly trying to follow a script—can leave you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, and at risk of mistreatment.

Society has told you what will make you happy, how to grieve, who to be, who to be with, how to cope and how to live your life. My role is to walk with you as we find the true answers to your life questions. At the end of our journey together, I want you to be able to freely follow your dreams, explore your passions and find your happiness. As a confused youth I was lucky that I found a great therapist that helped me get past having been bullied, my low self-esteem, my anger and get off a career path that was not for me. His skill and kindness inspired me to pursue a career helping others find their path and their peace.

How effective is treatment for learning disabilities?

When initiated early and tailored to a child’s specific needs, learning disability treatment can be quite effective at helping a child cope with their disability, though its exact efficacy may depend on the severity of symptoms and whether comorbid disorders exist. Less is known about treatment initiated in adulthood, but it is certainly possible that an adult with a learning disability will see some improvement—or at the very least, identify workarounds and accommodations that could make symptoms less burdensome in day-to-day life.

When should someone seek treatment for learning disabilities?

It’s best to seek treatment as early as possible. Because learning disabilities often go unnoticed until a child starts school, or even until they’re a few years along, regular check-ins with teachers and doctors can help parents determine whether children are meeting milestones and keeping up with peers or whether an evaluation for learning disabilities may be warranted. And although earlier is always better, it’s never too late to be evaluated for learning disabilities and to seek treatment.

What happens if learning disabilities are left untreated?

Undiagnosed and untreated learning disabilities can be a source of significant frustration and shame for a child, who may feel that their challenges stem from a lack of intelligence or willpower. Such feelings can trigger low self-esteem, depression, or anxiety, which may push a child toward risky behaviors, including substance use. In adulthood, untreated learning disabilities can interfere with career success, and lingering feelings of self-doubt and shame can negatively affect someone’s mental health.

Are there medications for learning disabilities?

Currently, there are no medications designed to treat specific learning disabilities such as dysgraphia or dyscalculia. However, someone with a learning disability may be prescribed medication for a comorbid condition, such as anxiety, depression, or ADHD, which may have positive downstream effects on their learning disability; for example, a child with both ADHD and dyslexia may find that they’re better able to focus on their reading exercises after being prescribed a stimulant medication.
