I have spent the past 30 years working with children, youth and their caregivers providing Mental Health treatment for a wide range of challenges facing families today. Whether it is proactively building resilience, providing age appropriate psycho-education or teaching behaviour management skills and coping strategies, I have experience with trauma, school related difficulties, emotion regulation, anger management, behaviour management, self-esteem, LGBTQ guidance and crisis. I encourage an open mind and a genuine desire to explore ones self to find strength and insight to move forward on their personal journey of life.
Over my long career, I have been fortunate to have received a vast range of clinical training, which is evidence informed and strength based. My experiences include working closely with our Boards of Education, as well as collaborating with community service providers to deliver mental health treatment. Specializing in Anxiety and Trauma. LGBTQ allied.
I genuinely believe in a person's ability to change. I have been witness, over a long career, to the magic that happens when someone has the opportunity to safely explore their own life experiences to develop personal insight into their day to day patterns of behaviour.
