I specialize in supporting people of colour, survivors of narcissistic abuse, caregivers, and older adults as they navigate life’s challenges and work towards healing.
I am committed to creating a safe space where you feel heard and empowered. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my goal is to offer perspectives that help you understand your experiences. As someone of South Asian descent, I am mindful of the stigma around mental health in some communities, and approach therapy with cultural sensitivity.

I work with individuals who experience, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, narcissistic partners/family members, loss, and self-esteem issues.
Taking the first step towards self-awareness and healing can feel challenging. I am here to offer a safe, unbiased space to unpack emotions, experiences, and thoughts. Recognizing our internal dualities and reconnecting with our inner child, a wounded part of ourselves, can be transformative and healing. As your therapist, I am committed to supporting you by fostering self-awareness and challenging harmful patterns. My business Off the Couch embodies the belief that change is possible. My aim is to get you off the couch both in life and in therapy.

I support clients in identifying what it is about their approach to life, intimacy, relationships and career choices that is leaving them feel stuck and/or unsatisfied. Using a collaborative approach, clients and I co-identify what's most important to them in their lives and what needs to change about how they get in their own way of getting what they want out of life. Together, once we've identified how they get in their own way of getting what they want out of life we identify what needs to change about their style of engagement in key areas and explore together how to take healthy risks in the areas that matter most to them.

One million Canadian men suffer from major depressive disorder each year. Three of every four completed suicides in Canada are by men. The prevalence of alcohol use disorder is twice as high in men with another mental health diagnosis than in the general population. One third of Canadian men worry that talking about mental health at work could put their job at risk. Men are just as likely as women to have mental health issues yet are far less likely to utilize traditional mental health services. Men are more likely to believe that mental health services are difficult to access, ineffective and invasive. At Cogent, Ontario’s new mental health clinic focussed solely on supporting men, we’re changing that.

Facing everyday challenges is not always easy; however, when we come to better understand what is happening within us and in our lives, we are much better equipped to make changes. I believe therapy is a wonderful avenue to support this journey, and I consider it a deep privilege to support people through life’s highs and lows. I see my role as one of helping people to take on the challenge of navigating life with greater ease and grace. Together, we can find strength, hope, and healing, no matter what you might be facing.

I specialize in ADHD & Autism Lvl. 1 and also have experience working with social & general anxiety, trauma, depression, suicidal feelings, substance abuse, video game addiction, stress, and relationship concerns (family, romantic, and friendships). Working with neurodivergent kids, adults, couples, & families is very important to me because I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and struggled a lot without proper support. I get how frustrating navigating the mental health and education systems can be and want to support others in learning to harness their amazing abilities and make lasting positive change.

Life can challenge us in ways that leave us feeling overwhelmed and in emotional pain. Sometimes we need help to get back on track. Counselling is an opportunity to feel safe, respected, heard and appreciated for who you really are. It is a place to get perspective on your life, learn coping skills and to explore solutions that work for you.

I work with individuals who want to resolve their past trauma. These traumas may come from childhood or from other traumatic events that can take place in adulthood. They are seeking better self understanding and most of all healing. Many of my client's have tried various forms of talk therapy and want to try something different as they have not yet identified the root cause of their difficulties or only noticed marginal change. The unresolved trauma may be contributing to ongoing relationship problems, anxiety, depression, self esteem concerns, or complex/post traumatic stress.

Reaching out for help takes courage and finding the right therapist can be daunting. As a highly empathetic and collaborative therapist, I understand the importance of a good fit and treat each client as a unique individual and expert on their own life. I trust that, with support, you can feel empowered enough to tackle your challenge, whether that be managing an overwhelming situation or symptoms of anxiety or depression, clearing unwanted patterns, resolving past issues, or perhaps finding a deeper sense of life purpose. As a highly sensitive person, I can also help fellow HSPs better understand and work with their unusual traits.

Hi there, I'm Molly! I help all kinds of humans (18+) navigate the ups and downs of life. Often, my clients are struggling with depression, anxiety, difficulties within relationships (like conflict, codependency, and people pleasing), and difficulties measuring up to the rigid and unrealistic expectations of the world and systems we live in (leaving them with a deep sense of shame and unworthiness). Simply existing as a human can be really hard somedays, let alone doing all of the things that come with human-ing.

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Counsellors

What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.

How do therapists treat NPD?

By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.

Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?

Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.

How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?

It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
