I work with teens, adults, and couples experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, low self-esteem, burnout, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
Currently accepting new in-person and virtual clients! Life is a journey that no one should walk alone. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally or physically exhausted, hurt, or isolated, I am here to walk with you. I strive to foster a compassionate, warm, and non-judgemental atmosphere for you to explore your current challenges. Together, we will identify your goals, learn your strengths, and develop an individualized treatment plan that feels good to you. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to counselling, which is why I use a client-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to therapy.

This allows me to specialize in treating trauma along with anxiety, depression and a range of other mental health issues.
Trauma, much like a splinter, embeds itself into a person and affects all aspects of life. My primary objective is to create a safe and compassionate therapeutic alliance which facilitates healing and growth. With Trauma, I truly believe that the body holds a great deal of the emotional weight, without us knowing. I witnessed severe difficulties in my community, and as an adult I have grieved many friends who kept their suffering a secret, often until it was too late. I truly believe that every individual innately harbors the right set of tools to achieve their personal goals and find their way to a meaningful, fulfilling life.

I have experience working with diverse folks in areas such as emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, infidelity, sexuality, intimacy, self-criticism, and trauma.
As a relationally trained therapist, I work with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. People see me when they wish to see a change in their life and need support or skills to find their way forward. For many, healing might mean gaining a better understanding of past events in life that leave you feeling unwell. It’s also true that for many, healing means creating change that separates us from the past and leads us to a brighter future.

Some of my areas of expertise are sexual orientation and gender identity investigations, coping strategies for depression and anxiety, and late diagnosis of neurodivergence (ASD, gifted, ADHD).
Life can be messy, random, and stressful. Yet, it can be breathtaking, fulfilling, and remarkable. The unpredictability of our human experiences can make our lives unravel and destabilize. My great passion is to create space for people who are overwhelmed by life and help them find their way to safety and wellness. I am a queer, cisgender, woman and I have experienced episodes of mental unwellness myself. My personal experiences allow me to connect with others from a place of empathy and profound respect for their strengths.
