My ideal clients are competitive athletes, executives, and high achievers who are serious about the mental side of performance. They come to me when talent and hard work aren't enough on their own. Pressure, self-doubt, or inconsistency is getting in the way of what they're capable of. My practice also offers neuropsychological and psychological assessments and treatment for children, teens, and adults dealing with ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, concussion, and other brain-based difficulties.

You may look calm, capable, and dependable on the outside while quietly feeling drained, overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from yourself. Many people spend years showing up for others at work, in relationships, or within their families while carrying stress, grief, and emotional pain on their own. Over time, this can lead to burnout, self-doubt, difficulty setting boundaries, and the feeling that you’ve lost touch with who you are. My holistic, compassionate approach empowers you to understand yourself deeply, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, connected change. It's a gentle journey of reflection, healing and growth.

Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and the person everyone else leans on. They’re used to being the reliable one—the emotional translator, the fixer, the one holding everything together. From the outside it can look like they have it all handled. Inside, though, they’re often exhausted. Burnout, anxiety, and frustrating relationship patterns start showing up, and they find themselves wondering why they keep repeating the same dynamics or why prioritizing their own needs feels so hard.

I trust that every person makes sense. That our patterns, the helpful ones and those that no longer serve us, were all once solutions to a problem and often ways of protecting ourselves. Together, we approach patterns with curiosity and compassion while developing new practices that encourage adaptability, connection and confidence. Our work will support you in cultivating new insight, attunement and choice in how you show up within yourself, with others and in the world around you.

You know that feeling of being "stuck"... stuck in the cycles you repeat in your relationship, career, and life. The problem is, you've tried again and again to change things, and it's not working. Your connection to your partner, maybe your kids, and to yourself continue to struggle. I've been there. The first important way to move forward is to imagine life when these problems are gone. The good news is that whether you are completely ready to dive in, you're coming to the right place.

Anxiety, Trauma, Emotional Regulation, Self-Esteem and Relationship Issues are where I focus. I tend to work a lot with male clients starting therapy for the first time, and female clients who are looking for a different approach from their previous therapist. I fucking love my job, because I get the honour of partnering with people in doing the difficult work of instigating real change in their lives. If the status quo is no longer working for you, send me an email, let's set up a time to talk and you can tell me what's going on and where you need to see change. If I can help, I will. If I can't, I'll help find someone who can.

Parenting Counsellors
What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.

When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.

How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
