Are you feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck? You might be managing on the surface, but underneath, there’s a constant mental load that’s hard to organize. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling to follow through, questioning your direction, your work, or even how you see yourself. I approach support through a creative, therapeutic lens, using visual processes to help you externalize feelings, thoughts, plans, and experiences. When you're holding it all in your head, it can feel overwhelming and hard to act on. This isn't about forcing productivity or adding more pressure. It’s about creating something that fits you.

Are you are a woman who's strong, capable, and appears to have it all “together” — but internally you feel overextended, or unseen in your relationships. Many women I work with are highly capable, and independent. But the qualities that help them be successful at work are killing their relationships. At home you might have the impulse to continue making all the decisions on your own, you're afraid to let go of control and unable to rest. This is not a character flaw. It is a nervous system shaped by attachment experiences and a mind shaped by beliefs and misconceptions about the opposite sex.

My ideal client is someone who feels stuck in patterns of disconnection, whether in their relationship, or within themselves. They may struggle with communication, trust, or navigating sexuality, or they may feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or insomnia that keeps them from feeling fully present. What they want most is to feel understood, connected, and capable of change. Their goals are to build healthier relationships, develop a stronger sense of self, and create balance in their lives. They seek therapy because they’re ready to move toward a more authentic, fulfilling way of living and want to be supported fully along the way.

I provide comprehensive mental health and neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, and behavioral concerns.
I work with parents who are concerned about their child’s development, behavior, attention, or emotional well-being, but do not yet have clear answers. Many families come to me when they suspect ADHD, autism, anxiety, or other concerns and want a structured, professional assessment. These are often thoughtful, proactive parents who want to understand what is happening and how to support their child at home and in school. They are looking for clarity, not guesswork, and a clear plan for moving forward.

FAQ - Teenage and Adolescent Therapists
What does therapy for teenagers look like?
When a therapist works with a teenager, the pair will talk about what the teen is struggling with and explore solutions, which may involve interpersonal skills, coping strategies, medication, or lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise. Different therapists employ different modalities, but most involve a combination of conversation and skill building.

How long does therapy for teenagers generally take to work?
There’s variability in teenagers’ experiences and challenges; some may begin to improve from therapy within a few weeks while others may take several months or longer. Teens can discuss their progress with their therapist periodically to assess how they’re improving and any changes to the treatment plan that could potentially accelerate that progress.

How do you encourage a teenager to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love while framing therapy as an opportunity to explore a tool that could help improve their life; just like they practice baseball or dance, now they can practice their emotional skills. Give your teen control over the process where you can—maybe by weighing in on choice of therapist and signaling that therapy involves confidentiality, so a parent need not know all that is discussed in sessions.

How do you prepare teens for therapy?
You can prepare your teenager for therapy by describing what the process will look like and setting expectations for timeline, if requested. You can explain that the first session may begin with an assessment phase, that they can describe their experiences but that the therapist will ask questions too, and that it may take time to feel comfortable opening up. Ask how they’re feeling about the process and answer any questions calmly and supportively.
