I work with young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, or the challenges that can come with being neurodivergent, including ADHD.
We’ll draw from a mix of approaches, like CBT, DBT, relational, and trauma-informed therapy, to find what fits best for you. Most importantly, we’ll move at your pace, building a space that feels safe and supportive, where you can be real, take your time, and work toward the changes that matter most to you.

I strive to create a space which offers a chance for genuine care and connection, creating a base for healing and growth. Together we can explore how to ride waves of emotions that feel hard to manage, set boundaries that support the authentic you, and find ways to help you feel greater connection and balance day-to-day. Using warmth, curiosity, compassion, and a little bit of humour let's explore your journey of growth and wellness looking to create stronger relationships, and build a stronger sense of who you are. Together, let's create space to pause, breath, and reconnect with what you truly need.

If you're scrolling, scrolling, and hoping for a connection with someone here... it makes sense. It shouldn’t be natural that we divulge our deepest heartache to a total stranger. We can all hear a version of that echo "don't talk to strangers!" Right?! Research supports that the experience of safety and connectedness is primary to therapy success. This is my priority in therapy. After this, I operate from these assumptions: 1. Everything is “figure-out-able”. 2. You have within you the wisdom you need to reach the goals you desire. I’m here to help you find it. 3. Together, we decide where you want to head.

Do you worry about what you ‘should’ be doing or feeling? Juggling work and personal commitments can lead you to feel like there’s never enough time to get everything done. Worrying about the future, or looking back on what you could have done better in the past, can feel overwhelming. This cycle of feeling like you’re not living up to your own expectations, or those of other people, can make you feel unsettled, off-balance and like you’re not fully present in your own life.

The world is on fire, social media says you’re behind, and every decision feels high-stakes. Rent? Wild... Job security? Questionable... Anxiety? Through the roof! You’re trying to build a career, afford a life, and keep it together while your brain spirals nonstop. You overthink every move, compare yourself constantly, and feel behind even though you’re doing what you’re ‘supposed’ to be doing. You second guess yourself constantly and the future feels overwhelming instead of exciting.

You're starting to find that not only are your thoughts and emotions affecting you, but they're beginning to affect your relationships around you. It can be awkward to find a therapist and to make sure you find someone who understands you.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.
How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.
Are there specific medications for ADHD?
Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.
How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
