We all long to be heard... to have someone witness and lovingly validate our struggles, our painful suffering and our greatest achievements. Did you know that healing happens when we feel we are in a trusting, truly compassionate therapeutic relationship? You probably give more to others than to yourself but you don't know why. You may be burned out, overwhelmed, a PTSD/sexual abuse survivor - or possibly suffering from Long Covid; depressed. anxious and totally stressed out? Your inner voice won't quit and you are so hard on yourself. You are not alone. It would be an honour to help you add peace and joy into your life.

If you’re grieving, overwhelmed, exhausted from being strong for too long, or feeling lost in a major life transition—you’re not alone. For more than a 14 years, I’ve walked alongside people facing some of life’s hardest moments: the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, complicated family patterns, traumatic experiences, and the deeper questions about the suffering many of us endure.
I’m not your average therapist - at least that is what my clients say. I offer a more human approach to traditional therapy, with all the clinical skills and a focus on emotional health and wellbeing.

Sometimes the deepest pain we carry is the feeling of being disconnected—from ourselves, from others, and from the spiritual grounding that gives life meaning.
Many people come to therapy carrying wounds from relationships, past experiences, or even painful spiritual experiences that have made trust, safety, and connection difficult. When these wounds go unhealed, they can show up as anxiety, shame, relationship struggles, or a quiet sense of emptiness. At Eternal Life Counselling, I offer therapy that integrates emotional healing, attachment work, and mind–body awareness with space for spiritual reflection.

You're not here because life is "a little stressful." You're here because the anxiety won't quiet down at 2am. Because a relationship that matters feels like it's slipping. Because something happened and no matter how hard you try, you can't quite move past it. You've probably tried talking it through. Maybe that helped some. Maybe it never reached the deeper thing.
EMDR can work differently. Rather than only talking about your experiences, it helps the brain reprocess those that may be driving how you feel today. EMDR is evidence-based, recognized by the WHO, and used for trauma, anxiety, and long-held patterns. Change is possible.

I enjoy working with clients who appreciate that in getting to their best selves and quality of life must look at their whole health. Life is hard and all the more challenging when we aren't taking great care of ourselves physically, emotionally, nutritionally, financially, spiritually or mentally. Learning how to DO things differently matters given that just wanting and talking about change simply isn't enough. Helping clients understand and heal in their relationships past and present is key to building a solid foundation that supports better overall health and quality of life.

Life can feel too intense, sometimes. We all deserve support. Psychotherapy can be a powerful way to work through those moments in life when we can’t see a way forward- when we feel stuck, alone, disconnected, overwhelmed, and small. I specialize in helping with feelings of low self-worth, isolation, and shame, and support folks in regaining a sense of safety and presence in their bodies, choices, and relationships. Whatever you may be struggling with, you don’t have to do it alone. In the context of a strong therapeutic relationship, we can make sense of your experience and help you work through it, together.

Transpersonal Counsellors
How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.
How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.
Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilise the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.
What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
