We all want to be more balanced, more present, and to feel empowered as we move through this world. However, people often experience blockages such as depression and anxiety due to traumas and conscious or unconscious fears about their own worth, inner wisdom, and ability to pursue their own path. My purpose in working with you is to help you find meaning in your pain, heal, feel into your purpose, develop deep self love, find depth in your joy, manifest your highest good, and reflect the sparkling light of who you are back out into the world.

Jungian Oriented, Experiential Dreamwork, Brief and InDepth, ( BID) Existential Orientation, Focusing Oriented Therapy (FOT) Hypnosis/Trance,
The writer Sartre wrote, "Everything has been figured out except how to live." There are a variety of reasons people come to therapy: a driving need to change their lives and relationships. Therapy is about learning to live in a way which has meaning and purpose. James Bugental writes therapy is: " about the perspectives you bring to relating with the people who matter to you. It's about what you aspire to and how you may unwittingly make it harder to reach those goals. Psychotherapy is not about what you think; it is about how you live with yourself right now."

My approach is rooted in Jungian, attachment-based, and depth psychotherapy.
This is your invitation to embark on the most profound journey: the one within. It isn’t easy, but it's transformative and real. True freedom begins when you’re no longer afraid of your inner world, and no one is meant to navigate this process alone. Together, we’ll safely explore the deeper layers of your life as to foster psychological strength. By uncovering unconscious blocks that limit your growth and creative potential, we'll empower you to embrace challenges, find new pathways for self-expression, and reclaim your personal power. I support deeper psychological integration and facilitate expansive post-traumatic growth.

By working with the classic approach of Jungian analysis we can find creative solutions to keeping our uniqueness and humanity in the face of the demands of the external aspect of life, such as jobs and relationships, thereby gaining a greater sense of inner stability and authenticity.
In our sessions we work with dreams, emotions, personal encounters, and fantasy material, to develop the dialogue between our ego consciousness and those aspect of ourselves that are still in the unconscious, both personal and collective, gleaning valuable insights, ideas, and energy for our lives and give us a sense of our path.

I use an Integrative Approach, drawing on Relational Psychodynamics, Somatic Experiencing, and Jungian theories, but may employ a variety of approaches to support you in your unique needs and goals.
Are you a high-achieving professional struggling to cope with anxiety? Do you feel overwhelmed by your responsibilities? Despite the successes, a part of you continues to worry about the next thing. To others you might look like you’re doing well, but on the inside you’re struggling. Perhaps you’ve even tried thinking more positively but nothing changes. That persistent stuck feeling is making it hard to relax. It might even feel like your relationships are beginning to suffer. As a former lawyer, I have felt similar pressures.

As a Jungian analyst, I utilize the theories and approaches of Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung to help you come to a better understanding of yourself and the issues you face.
Your life story is more meaningful than you know. Everyone holds narratives of who they are and what they are meant to be. In our work, we will begin to make sense of your individual myth. When you’ve come to a crossroads (life transition), a valley (lethargy), or a desert (depression), it’s difficult to understand why. Together we will navigate these challenging passages through observing what Jung described as the contents of the collective unconscious: dreams, fantasies, and art. In our work, we will begin to map your journey so you may walk the path that was laid for you and learn to find the meaning in your life.

How does Jungian therapy work?

Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?

Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?

According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?

Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
