We accomplish this through assessments and intervention (psychotherapy and coaching) for children, adolescents, and adults to assist in identifying things which may be impacting their ability to be successful at school, work, and in relationships.
A psychological assessment can be helpful in identifying learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, poor motivation, behavioural problems, and mood issues. Regardless of age, we can help you understand your strengths and work with you to support your differences so that you can live your best life.

I have over over 25 years of experience supporting adults, couples, teens and families unlearn limiting beliefs and relational patterns.
"...we live by stories, we also live in them. One way or another we are living the stories planted in us early or along the way, or we are also living the stories we planted - knowingly or unknowingly - in ourselves. We live stories that either give our lives meaning or negate it with meaninglessness. If we change the stories we live by, quite possibly we change our lives." Ben Okri

I have worked with a variety of clients over the years. I have had much success in treating anxiety, depression, stress, school performance, life satisfaction, stress related to gender and sexuality, and parenting. While it is always ideal for a client to walk in the door ready to make changes I also enjoy supporting individuals in getting to that point. Someone who is willing to collaborate and create a space, therapeutic relationship and set of goals together with me will usually see success on some level. I practice from a strength based model.

I imagine a client being stuck in-between two worlds. This client has a desire to be accepted by friends, family, and loved ones that contrasts with their desire to be themselves. As a bi-sexual male who is also a first generation Canadian, I have experienced the difficulties of being pulled between both of these worlds. To be yourself, truly, and authentically? Or to conform to your surroundings? "No man can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude without finally getting bewildered as to which may be true." - Hawthorne. Embracing who you are can be terrifying, but it can also be the most empowering decision.

Many people come to therapy carrying experiences they haven’t had space or the language to fully explore. I believe that every person carries a story that deserves to be heard with care, respect, and compassion. My curiosity about the diverse ways people experience the world has grown into a commitment to walking alongside clients as they build self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change. In session, I focus on how people make sense of their experiences and how this shapes their identities and evolving sense of self.

As a high achiever, it is common to see flashes of your potential in competition, but stress, overthinking, or setbacks interfere with doing this consistently. I understand those challenges because I’ve been there—as both an professional athlete and a therapist. I provide counselling and psychotherapy tailored to high achievers struggling with performance slumps, anxiety, injury, or transitions. In addition, I work with those supporting these high achievers (e.g., parents/coaches). My goal is to help you sharpen your focus, build resilience, and leverage your strengths to reach your full potential in sport, academics, and life.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, motivated, and deeply committed to doing things differently than how they were raised. They genuinely want to show up calmly and consistently for their those they love — but they still find themselves getting triggered, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns they don’t like. I work with people who want to understand their patterns, emotional wounds, and nervous system responses that are driving their reactions. When we slow down and explore what’s happening underneath the surface, parenting becomes less about trying harder and more about responding from a grounded, regulated place.
