I feel it is essential to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each client right from the start to ensure a safe and comfortable space to share, heal and grow. I believe in the importance of working collaboratively with each person; establishing goals and working together to decide on a plan to achieve these goals. I like to facilitate the development of self-awareness and the ability to recognize the connections within different areas of our lives.

I practice primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ( CBT) modality and have a keen interest in supporting individuals who are experiencing stress and anxiety, specific phobias, depression, ADHD, OCD and challenges related to work/school, perfectionism, assertiveness and self-esteem.
At times, life can be very challenging and overwhelming, leaving us feeling stuck, misunderstood, and disconnected. I am committed to approaching therapy with compassion, curiosity, and care. Our work together will involve setting specific goals, developing a better understanding of your thought patterns, behaviours and emotions, and equipping you with therapeutic tools, with the ultimate goal of making your days more manageable and fulfilling.

I hold additional certifications and trainings in specialized areas of ADHD, Disordered eating, CBT, and ACT - to best support skills development and behaviour change.
As a woman, daughter, sister, and wife, I understand that our lives are shaped by the relationships, expectations, and experiences we carry. My passion for this work grew from both professional experience and personal connection to the challenges many women face with body image, food, self-worth, and identity. Over the past decade, I've supported individuals through complex life challenges, mental health concerns, and major transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting women navigating disordered eating, chronic dieting, binge eating, neurodivergence, pregnancy, motherhood, and the process of connecting with self trust.

Sometimes the overwhelm can feel too much to handle alone. In moments like this, it’s easy to shut down or disconnect from what you’re feeling just to get through the day. Anger may show up, not out of nowhere, but from feelings that never had a chance to be understood or expressed. I offer you a space where you can bring your story—the experiences, the emotions, and the things you’ve been holding onto for so long. Together, we’ll work through what’s unresolved, gently process experiences that continue to affect you, and create space for clearer moments and feeling present in your life and your relationships.

I support individuals and youth using evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, CBT, EFFT, and Narrative Therapy, grounded in anti-oppressive and anti-racist principles.
My own lived experience deeply informs my work. Having walked through the complexities of trauma, identity, anxiety, grief, uncertainty, and change, and as a cancer survivor, I have come to understand the power of inner healing. These experiences have gifted me a profound connection to compassion, authenticity, and safe use of self in the therapeutic space.

Although my therapeutic orientation is primarily drawn from the principals of CBT, I use a client-centred and integrative approach that incorporates principles from other forms of therapy, including interpersonal and mindfulness, so that therapy is tailored to each individual client.
As an experienced licensed clinical psychologist, I offer evidence-based psychotherapy and consultation regarding a wide range of mental health conditions and situational stressors faced by youth during the pre-teen and adolescent years. My goal is to help my clients develop healthy and effective coping strategies in a caring, accepting, safe and client-centred environment. I provide individual therapy to late-stage adolescents through their college and and university years, and I work with parents to help them develop effective strategies to support their children to regulate their emotions and behaviour.

My therapeutic perspective is rooted in a strengths-based and multi-disciplinary approach using aspects of Solution-focused, EFT (emotion-focused), CBT ( cognitive-behavioural) and DBT (dialectical-behavioural) treatment modalities.
I know asking for help is hard. Knowing what you want and how to get it are two different things and figuring out how to set and achieve your goals can be overwhelming! I help people clarify and work towards their objectives, whatever they may be. The learning that takes place during this process builds a foundation that can be drawn from to support future objectives and goals. Why do this alone when you can work with someone who will support, motivate and encourage you to be the best version of yourself?

I specialize in working with people with histories of trauma and upsetting childhood experiences. Many present as successful, but they often feel deeply ashamed, unsettled and all around “not good enough”. They may experience traits of perfectionism, resulting in fears about their capacity to perform and manage their emotional well-being. Amid this discomfort, they aren't necessarily seeking to learn coping skills in therapy. They do, however, want to engage in an authentic relationship where they can be vulnerable, undertake deep self-exploration and heal the parts of them that may be hurting.

I use an integrative approach that is supported by evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotion/Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), and mindfulness-based practices.
What would it be like if you felt at home with yourself? What would it be like if all the different parts of you had a space to feel seen, to be heard, and to come together? We can work together to get to know you — all of you. We will move toward the changes you would like to see for yourself by co-creating a space where you can feel safe enough to voice your truths and gain awareness of how past survival strategies impact your current day-to-day. In my work with couples and individuals, we address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and trauma.
