Whether it's romantic relationships, family dynamics, or friendships, it’s common to feel lost, anxious, or even stuck in a cycle that’s hard to break. I draw on techniques from ACT, narrative therapy, CBT, DBT and attachment-based therapy.
I enjoy working with individuals who are experiencing life transitions, conflicts in relationships, stress, depression, anxiety and those who identify as neurodivergent. Furthermore, since becoming a mom of two boys, I have a special interest in working on navigating pregnancy, postpartum and the ups and downs of parenthood.

Life comes with ups and downs. Some we navigate with ease, while others can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure where to turn. If you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from yourself, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. No issue is too big or too small for therapy. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply feeling “off,” you are welcome here. I believe we all have the capacity to grow, heal, and move forward. Sometimes we just need the right support and someone to help us find a way through.

I believe therapy is, at its heart, about connection, personal growth, and transformation. I’m dedicated to offering a compassionate, open, and genuine space - supporting individuals through a process that aims to cultivate greater inner freedom and more connected, meaningful lives. I believe that all behavior serves a function and that therapy helps us look beneath the surface to understand the role they play (behaviours such as addiction, eating struggles, chronic anxiety, and more). Most importantly, we learn what is needed to experience change and peace.

Many of the people I work with have been managing for a long time before they reach out—holding things together, pushing through, waiting to feel better. When they finally get here, I take that seriously.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist with 15 years of experience working with children, youth, adults, and families. My approach draws on CBT, DBT, emotion-focused and somatic methods—but more than any technique, I pay attention to how each person experiences things, not just what they say about them. Some people need to understand what's happening. Others need to actually feel something shift. Most need both.

Attachment-based Counsellors
Is attachment-based therapy the same as attachment therapy?
Attachment-based therapy may be confused with what is called “attachment therapy” (sometimes called “holding therapy”), a discredited and dangerous approach to treating children with attachment disorders, autism, or other mental health concerns. Attachment therapy—not attachment-based therapy—may involve restraining a child, forcing eye contact, and other coercive or abusive techniques. None of these practices are used in attachment-based therapy and the two modalities are in no way related.
What should I expect from attachment-based therapy?
Attachment-based therapy is based on attachment theory, which posits that children’s early relationships with their caregivers strongly influence their ability to navigate the world later in life. Thus, adults who seek attachment-based therapy should expect to deeply explore their childhood, identifying the dynamics or experiences that disrupted their attachment and the steps necessary to overcome challenges that arose as a result. Parents and children should expect to explore the possible factors that disrupted the parent-child relationship and work toward restoring trust and connection.
How long does attachment-based therapy last?
Certain forms of attachment-based therapy, especially those designed for parents and children, last for a set number of sessions; for example, Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up, a specific attachment-based approach for young children who have undergone early adversity, unfolds over 10 one-hour sessions. When attachment-based therapy is practiced on adults or combined with other modalities, it may not last a specific length of time; clients may wish to ask prospective therapists how long they expect treatment to take.
Does attachment-based therapy work?
Most of the research on attachment-based therapy focuses on children and adolescents. Some of this research shows a positive effect, especially for attachment-based family therapy (ABFT). Other studies, however, have found that attachment-based therapy is no more effective than other approaches to childhood depression, anxiety, or suicidality. Less is known about the therapy’s efficacy on adult populations.
