True genuineness, respect, and a sense of compassion are grounded in my therapeutic style. I am an eclectic therapist who employs an integrative approach allowing for a variety of modalities to be utilized based on need, comfort, and what works for you.

Hi there. Looking for the right fit for a therapist may feel a bit overwhelming. I invite you to take a moment to inhale deeply and slowly exhale, releasing tension as you do. Imagine... a space where you can go to share what needs to be heard. feel your way through complex emotions, process the blocks that hold you back and learn healthy ways of coping. Here, you will be supported as you lean into yourself. " Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." -Rumi

We all have within us a profound sense of knowing that helps us to live the life we ought to be living. When our lives are not aligning with this inner wisdom, we experience isolation, depression, and feel unfulfilled, stuck, and bored. We find ourselves in old repetitive patterns, jobs, and relationships that are no longer serving us. I can help you address these issues and guide you to explore the deepest parts of your self so that you can begin to live your authentic life.

It can be difficult to live in the world with a sense of peace in yourself. I have 18 years experience working with clients struggling with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, childhood neglect and abandonment, addictions, ADHD and people in recovery from psychosis. I also have experience working with the Indigenous population, youth and seniors. I offer a strength and evidence-based approach.

Dr. Seth Gilligan said, “stress is inevitable but overwhelm is optional.” While life can be challenging and the future uncertain, it's often the stories we tell ourselves that lie at the root of our suffering. Do you struggle with feelings of low self-worth and inadequacy? Do you find yourself ruminating about the past or lacking the motivation to move forward? Is fear of uncertainty holding you back from the life you’d like to live? Are you stuck in a cycle of self-defeating behaviors that you'd like to change? The good news is we have more influence over our own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors than we give ourselves credit for.

We are all on a journey, our own journey. Sometimes that journey has bumps, twists, turns, and roadblocks that are super tough. Having someone to ride along beside you on your journey, even just for a short time, can be helpful. I have 24+ years experience supporting young people with a variety of struggles including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, stress, behavioural struggles, emotional regulation, self-esteem, authentic self, parent-child relationships, and substance abuse. I love to walk young people through the exploration of their story and to encourage them to become the best version of themselves.

Navigating the perinatal period can be both exciting and challenging. During this time, it's common to experience a wide range of emotions and adjustments. From the anticipation of a new arrival to the physical and emotional changes, the perinatal period is a unique and transformative journey. Therapy shouldn't feel like a chore. While it might sometimes be hard to hear what is discussed in therapy, overall you should leave feeling like you've gained something useful or even transformative. Over time, you should feel you are getting stronger, more resilient and have shed layers of fear and anxiety. Of course this process can be overwhelming at times and you might not always progress on the timeframe that you thought you would, but when therapy goes well, you should feel more settled and more clear about your life. You should gain understanding about yourself and others and have a renewed sense of purpose and passion
