Therapy shouldn't feel like a chore. While it might sometimes be hard to hear what is discussed in therapy, overall you should leave feeling like you've gained something useful or even transformative. Over time, you should feel you are getting stronger, more resilient and have shed layers of fear and anxiety. Of course this process can be overwhelming at times and you might not always progress on the timeframe that you thought you would, but when therapy goes well, you should feel more settled and more clear about your life. You should gain understanding about yourself and others and have a renewed sense of purpose and passion

Welcome. Our life can feel like a wave. We ride through the ups and downs, the steady times and then we try anchoring ourselves in the storms. Therapy can be a safe space to thrive in a non-judgmental, supportive, collaborative therapeutic relationship. Our life journey sometimes takes us to unexpected circumstances that bring up feeling stuck, burned out, anxious, depressed and isolated. This may be because of our own experiences in our life and/or perhaps from our loved ones (child, spouse, other family members) we are supporting. Therapy can help to ground us and give opportunities for empowerment & healing.

As we move through life, we inevitably run into issues that are difficult to navigate, such as trouble with a boss, spouse / partner, or a struggle with anxiety, depression, or stress. We try our best to solve these issues ourselves. Sometimes, no matter what we try, we can feel as if we are 'banging our head against a wall'. These times can be frustrating, tiring, and scary. At these moments, a helping hand and another perspective may be welcome. I have provided this support to individuals, couples and families since 2000. I would be honoured to partner with you.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk to blossom” -Anais Nin. I can appreciate how difficult it is to make the first steps in entering into a therapeutic relationship. Telling our stories takes tremendous courage and strength. We can trick ourselves into believing that it would be easier to remain silent. We all hit a point in our lives where we need extra guidance, a genuine ear, or a safe place to open up. I create a safe and open space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and stories. I combine several therapeutic techniques, to allow you the freedom to share your journey.
