My approach is person-centered in dealing with issues as I walk alongside you in your journey to recovery. Every person’s journey is unique, and therefore therapy for your recovery and goals is tailored to reflect your needs and desired outcomes. In my experience, an array of treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches can be effective, including using harm reduction strategies, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, stages of change, cognitive behavioural therapy, and coping skills development.
My career path has involved working extensively in addictions encompassing assessment, treatment, and on-going recovery support which includes treatment aftercare. I also provide therapy for emotional difficulties, communication, depression, anxiety, victims of crime, trauma, lack of boundaries, anger management, co-dependence, and concurrent disorders.
