As a Registered Psychotherapist, I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, OCD, and low self-esteem, and with couples wanting to rebuild trust, strengthen connection, and communicate better.
Do you feel like you’re constantly overthinking and burning yourself out trying to get everything right? Do you lose sleep replaying conversations or agonizing over endless ‘what-if’ scenarios? When uncertainty is unbearable and self-criticism takes up more space than confidence, it can leave you feeling paralyzed, disconnected, and unsure how to move forward. The good news? You don’t have to stay trapped in that cycle. Imagine the freedom of no longer performing and finally being yourself. With the right support, it’s possible to quiet the noise and feel at ease in your real, imperfect, remarkable self.

Living with OCD can feel like being trapped in an exhausting cycle of worry, doubt, and fear.
OCD is often misunderstood and treated like a general anxiety disorder in therapy. However, this approach is typically ineffective and can actually make symptoms worse. It requires a unique and highly specialized treatment plan. I provide gold-standard, research-based OCD treatment while drawing on other modalities when helpful.

Hi, I’m Jessica. If you feel like your mind is constantly racing, worrying about the future, second-guessing decisions, or stuck in a cycle of “what ifs”, you’re not alone in that. I work with people who feel on edge, overwhelmed, or like they can’t fully relax no matter how hard they try. Maybe the anxiety shows up in your sleep, your work, or your relationships, or maybe it’s just always humming in the background. If you’re exhausted from trying to keep it all together, therapy can help slow things down and bring some calm back into your day-to-day.

I work with clients who find themselves stuck by anxiety, OCD, or perfectionism.
The tightness in your chest, knots in your stomach and the stories your mind tells you have been getting out of hand lately. Your efforts to control your anxiety haven’t been working the way you’d like, and you’re left feeling like you just want to run away. Fear of making mistakes, saying the wrong thing, hesitating to take on new challenges, and the discomfort of feeling out of place have become too much. Common sense methods like trying to be rational or think positively only make it worse. Anxiety is holding you back from being the person you wish to be.

I focus on helping people deal with intrusive thoughts related to many issues, like Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder ( OCD), PTSD, and anxiety.
My career as a therapist started as a career in theatre and film due to my love of narrative and storytelling. Over time, I became more interested in how the stories we believe about ourselves shape how we live our lives. I use scientifically supported treatments like CBT to explore these stories and see how helpful or not they are. Of course, we often already know that something isn't working, but it can be hard to believe anything different. To that end, our sessions usually include seeking out new experiences to develop new perspectives. My clients tell me they're surprised by how much more they can do than they first thought.

I support clients with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, identity stress, burnout, grief, and life transitions - helping them reconnect with hope and a sense of meaning and authenticity.
Life can be difficult, and we can lose our way sometimes. Perhaps you are caught up with intrusive thoughts, overwhelmed by burnout, or struggling with low-self-esteem, shame, or difficult life transitions. Maybe you’ve been silently carrying it all, unsure if anyone will truly understand. Deep down, you want relief, clarity, and a stronger connection to yourself. You want to feel seen, heard, and supported - by someone who gets it and can help you make sense of it. Or you may want tangible tools to help you cope with the difficulty you are facing and move forward with clarity. You are not alone - change is possible.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Counsellors
How long does OCD treatment take?
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often treated on a weekly or twice-weekly schedule, depending on symptom severity and the client’s preferences. Some clients may start to see a noticeable improvement in symptoms in as little as six weeks, but it’s also possible, especially in more severe cases, for treatment to take several months to a year before significant progress is made.

What happens if OCD is not treated?
Some people with OCD, especially those with mild symptoms, may find that they are able to adapt reasonably well to life with the condition, even if their symptoms never resolve completely. However, many people, particularly those whose symptoms are severe at the outset, find that their obsessions and compulsions grow more intrusive with time, making it harder to maintain relationships, hold down a job, or navigate the world successfully.

Are there medications for OCD?
Medication can be used to treat OCD. The class of drugs most often prescribed are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, which include fluvoxamine, fluoxetine, and sertraline, among others. In cases of treatment-resistant OCD, other classes of medication, such as tricyclic antidepressants or atypical antipsychotics, may be prescribed. Medication is frequently used in conjunction with therapy.

Can OCD come back after treatment?
Yes. Major life transitions, periods of stress, or other factors can cause symptoms to return or, if they were never fully eradicated, to ramp back up in intensity. For some, these relapses are brief and do not require additional treatment; identifying specific triggers and practicing the skills learned in therapy can help speed their course. For others, returning to therapy for a brief period can help address the underlying stress and strengthen coping mechanisms.
