Relationships can bring us immense joy as well as incredible pain. My therapy practice focuses on exploring the range of thoughts, feelings, and patterns that come up in families, friendships, and partnerships, as well as your relationship with yourself. My areas of focus include family changes, parenting, addiction, and exploring identity and meaning. My work with young people from 2SLGBTQ+ communities is important to me and I am passionate about supporting parents on their journeys alongside their kids and teens. My practice is guided by anti-oppressive, trauma informed, and harm reduction principles.
Relational psychotherapy believes that the state of our relationships shapes the way we move through the world. If you are unhappy with the way you are showing up in your relationships, starting therapy can be one way to feel a shift. As an educator, youth worker, and parent, I am able to support those exploring family and parenthood in our work together.
By building a relationship together, we are able to allow space for reflection, exploration, and possible change. I offer potential new clients a no cost 20 minute phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit.
