I believe that when we are supported and cared for, we can truly thrive. My goal as a clinical social worker is to help people engage in healing and repair, with themselves and others, regardless of their experience or background. I work primarily with adults and couples, with a particular interest in challenges related to 2SLGBTQ+ identity and experiences with grief, communication, depression, and interpersonal conflict. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you with warmth, connection and curiosity!
My communication style is more direct and I use narrative approaches to support clients in telling, owning and developing skills related to their own story. I have over 15 years of experience as a community organizer, doing peer support, and working with individuals, and groups.
I know it can be intimidating to reach out, but keep in mind that our first meeting is simply a chance for us to get to know each other, and you can decide if it's a good fit for you. Together, we can explore what your goals are and how I can hold space for you in that process.
