Welcome! I enjoy walking with adults, adolescents, and children on their healing journeys. I always approach therapy from a trauma-informed, client-centered perspective. Whether you are looking for help with anxiety, strategies for managing emotions, or need support as you begin working through past traumas, I can provide a nonjudgmental, welcoming environment to do so in. As a Métis counsellor, I know how important our cultural backgrounds can be to our sense of identity - I always aim to incorporate your specific needs into your therapy plan.
I have been in the mental health field for over 6 years, during which time I have worked with clients and continued my education. I have walked with survivors of abuse, supported those struggling to make sense of grief, and helped others manage difficult emotions such as anger or shame.
Do you often feel afraid to share your experience due to feelings of shame? Do you struggle with intense emotions? Or perhaps everyone else seems to have life figured out while you are left feeling lost? I aim to create a space that feels safe to share these thoughts and feelings, welcoming all regardless of religion, sexual orientation, gender, or age.
