I have a Master’s Degree in social work and have been working in the mental health field for 15 years. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and youth, and have had the privilege of supporting diverse clients, including those wanting faith-based counselling or having religious trauma, LGBTQ2+ folks and Indigenous peoples. Before moving into private practice, I gained experience in a variety of areas, including: • Health care • Indigenous-specific services • Federal Corrections (CSC) • Mental health • Psychiatric care • Trauma treatment and 1-to-1 counselling • Substance use • Harm reduction • Street outreach
My passion is helping clients process and heal trauma in a safe and supportive environment using an attachment-focused, trauma-informed lens. I believe our brains and bodies are the key to healing—and that through evidence-based trauma approaches such as EMDR and Brainspotting, people can reduce symptoms, reclaim resilience, and move toward wellness.
