I have been a registered psychologist for almost 18 years. I offer assessment and treatment for children, teens, and adults. Over my career, I have been employed with three school boards and offered psychoeducational assessments with a focus on learning disorders, ADHD, and giftedness. I also offer therapy with a focus on treating anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. In addition, I provide parent support with complex child behaviour challenges.
My practice includes the use of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills (DBT). I have extensive training and experience in treating complex trauma using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (eye movement therapy).
I take a client-centred approach. I am always interested in understanding your needs and expectations. My clients describe me as warm, understanding, and enthusiastic. I ensure the assessment process is timely and provides recommendations to support growth. I also ensure that therapy is helpful, efficient, and moves you along your wellness journey.
