I work with women (mostly in the helping professions) across Ontario and Nova Scotia by video (Signal) or phone, and I provide Supervision/Consultation to other psychotherapists. I help women who are experiencing stress and burnout, anxiety/depressed mood, work-related difficulties, family or relationship concerns, parenting, or who are making major life decisions. I also provide clinical Supervision, professional guidance, and personal therapy to practicing psychotherapists. I have 25 years of experience practicing therapy using effective approaches, offered with the wisdom of experience, in a collaborative and exploratory way.
Good therapy should begin to make a difference from the first session, helping you to feel better and to deepen your insights into self and others. Therapy should encompass both exploratory, non-judgmental self-inquiry, and simultaneously be practical, helping you to identify concrete ideas and beginning steps for how to respond to your specific situation.
