I have a special interest in supporting parents and those with ADHD, who can be especially impacted by these concerns.
Do you feel overwhelmed by your emotions, like you’re caught in a storm that's impossible to control? Do you find yourself wondering why life feels so impossible to manage, when others seem to easily glide through? It's hard to enjoy life when overpowering feelings are taking over your day, straining your relationships, and chipping away at your self-image. I work with those navigating emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and low self-worth. In our work together, we can explore how to calm the internal storm, reconnect with your authentic self, and maybe even find joy again.

I'll help you explore: the impacts of immigration on your identity, relationships & life choices; your queer identity; coping with & learning from a separation, divorce or significant breakup; the challenges of living with ADHD, PCOS or other chronic illnesses; your experiences of stress & burnout.
If you identify as a neurodivergent, chronically ill, BIPOC &/or immigrant woman, queer or trans person, then you may be struggling to feel a sense of belonging & acceptance in a world & system that wasn’t built for you & doesn’t capture the unique intersections of your identity & lived experiences. I believe in your inherent capacity to heal, grow, discover who you are, connect deeply with others, and lead a fulfilling life. If you’re committed to self-discovery & healing as part of your ongoing personal growth & professional development, let's work together to put the pieces of your life, work & relationships back into balance.

I provide comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment services (e.g., ADHD, ASD, brain Injury, personality and interpersonal functioning).
My clinical orientation is strongly rooted in the integration of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theories. This perspective gives me an understanding of clients’ emotional needs and distress, and their difficulty soothing this pain alone and within their relationships. It also provides a frame to attempt to identify the root of their struggles.

I support adults navigating relationships, ADHD, Autism/AuDHD, sexual health, and trauma.
My areas of focus include relationships, neurodivergence, sexual health, and trauma recovery. I believe healing happens in relationships, especially in a therapeutic space where you feel truly seen and understood. While I’m trained in multiple modalities, our sessions will feel like collaborative conversations focused on creating a safe, attuned connection where your nervous system can settle and your emotional world can begin to shift. This kind of deep, supportive relationship rewires old patterns and opens up new ways of being, feeling, and relating. Therapy isn’t about coming in to be “fixed" it’s about coming home to yourself.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?

Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
