Sometimes the challenge is that we may not recognize the power in other narratives. Together, we can create space to address, racial and/or gender identity, relationship patterns, transition periods, sexuality and any issues impacting you and your journey. I am passionate about hearing your story and providing a safe, brave and judgement-free space, to build on your core values and strengths to discover opportunities for growth and healing.
I provide an authentic, listening ear while also being open to hearing and integrating your feedback, as a collaborative therapeutic relationship is imperative to our work together. I work from an emotion-focused, holistic and narrative approach, prioritizing an active space that is trauma-informed, anti-racist, and LGBTQ+ affirmative.
As a Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I can acknowledge that not one size fits all regarding therapeutic support. My practice is significantly informed by my personal experiences as a South Asian and queer woman. I can understand and honour the impact our identities have on our stories.
