Hi I'm Kristin! I have over a decade of experience in walking alongside individuals who are going through difficulties, whether mentally, emotionally, physically, or spiritually. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals on their path with depression, anxiety, (inter-generational) trauma, grief, chronic illness/pain, life transitions, and identity concerns. My perspective is that you are the expert of your own life and together we can create a safe space to explore your inner knowing and path forward. As a Kwakwaka'wakw and mixed European ancestry person, I am passionate about supporting Indigenous and mixed folks.
My counselling practice is called 'Noke Counselling and 'noke is a kwak'wala word meaning heart/mind. I work in a holistic and strengths-based way with what is on your heart and mind. I offer EMDR and Somatic Experiencing therapy through an Indigenous lens. I also draw from Narrative, ACT, and Somatic practices,
I am here to support you in your journey towards wellness, strength, and ease. I offer remote counselling to anywhere in BC by phone or secure video conferencing to make getting help as easy and convenient as possible. Please note: I only offer virtual counselling at this time.
