If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addictions, relationship issues with family, work or elsewhere, grief, sickness, anger management issues, stress, workplace harassment, dealing with an abusive past or present, I would love to help. Working together, I may be able to provide you with new perspectives and tools to cope with your life, heal areas in yourself, and eventually overcome these types of issues so that you can feel empowered, hopeful for your future, and better about yourself and your life.
I have my BSW degree, and I have advanced training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Jungian Sandplay Therapy. I behold the idea of psychotherapy that a therapist is most effective if he or she has been the client first. Since age 26 I have been on my own healing path. With that, I have learned many techniques that work.
My office is out of my home, a private, peaceful, confidential and safe place for you to feel comfortable and express your feelings and thoughts. There is no judgement, as I understand that we all come from different life situations, some that were quite harsh. I have a passion for helping people heal and gain incentive to work towards personal freedom.
