You might feel like you’re always busy but never caught up, working hard yet still feeling disorganized or mentally cluttered. Tasks pile up, motivation shifts, and it can feel like your brain moves in a dozen directions at once. Many teens and adults with ADHD share this mix of capability and frustration—wanting things to click but unsure how to make that happen. Our counselling helps you understand your unique patterns, strengthen focus and follow-through, and create strategies that support clarity, confidence, and balance in everyday life.

I integrate Brainspotting, EMDR, DBR, Somatic Experiencing and other evidence-based approaches to help you heal from anxiety, depression, PTSD, panic attacks, OCD, disordered eating, relationship struggles, and other patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
It might be hard to imagine what “better” could feel like — a life free from constant anxiety, depression, panic, or the heaviness of past experiences. You may have learned skills to manage symptoms, but no one told you that real healing is possible.
I help people move beyond coping to actually resolving the root causes of their struggles. Together, we work to release the ways your body has held onto the past so you can feel lighter, calmer, and more present. With the right tools and support, change can happen faster than you think — and it can last.

Asking for help can be one of the hardest things to do - I’m glad you are making that first step! My therapy room is a safe and accepting space where there is no agenda to change or "cure" you. It is to see you, as you are. My goal is that you feel seen and understood. Many clients come to me describing themselves as depressed, overwhelmed, stressed, stuck or anxious. Most are surprised that I don't try to ’get rid' of these symptoms, but that every part is welcome and has an important story to share. Through mindfulness we bring awareness to these feelings, to understand and embrace them to enable healing at a deeper level.

I help individuals and couples explore and strengthen their relationships; with partners, family, friends, and themselves. Our experiences shape how we think, feel, and connect with others and ourselves. When those experiences include hurt, loss, or disconnection, they can leave lasting patterns that we don’t always see right away. In our work, we might explore how past relationships and attachment patterns show up in your present, make sense of your emotional world, strengthen communication, explore healthy boundaries, or build practical skills to manage the anxiety, depression, and trauma that can come from relational struggles.

How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
