Hi, I'm Ashley (she/her) and I'm a registered social worker and clinical therapist, offering virtual and in-person counselling sessions for adults, couples and families. One of the most difficult decisions can be reaching out for support - this common underlying anxiety and stress for potential clients helps inform and shape my practice, whereby my focus is working to create a warm, welcoming and calm space for individuals, couples and families to share their experiences, challenges and hopes in a safe, inclusive and trauma-informed place.

Asking for help can be one of the hardest things to do - I’m glad you are making that first step! My therapy room is a safe and accepting space where there is no agenda to change or "cure" you. It is to see you, as you are. My goal is that you feel seen and understood. Many clients come to me describing themselves as depressed, overwhelmed, stressed, stuck or anxious. Most are surprised that I don't try to ’get rid' of these symptoms, but that every part is welcome and has an important story to share. Through mindfulness we bring awareness to these feelings, to understand and embrace them to enable healing at a deeper level.

My ideal clients are individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, grief, attachment wounds, chronic stress, PTSD, or nervous system dysregulation, especially those who feel traditional talk therapy has not fully resolved the deeper impact of their experiences. Many are emotionally exhausted from living in survival states such as fight, flight, freeze, or fawn. At my neuroscience-based clinic. I use specialized therapies including Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) to help clients process unresolved trauma, regulate the nervous system, and create lasting healing.

Many people reach out for therapy during one of the hardest seasons of their lives: relationships possibly ending, divorce or parenting through conflict and uncertainty. You may feel emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, angry, grieving, stuck or like you're carrying the weight of everyone else while trying to hold yourself together. Whether you're navigating the end of a relationship, struggling with the question of how did I even get here, co-parenting challenges or trying to protect your children while managing your own pain, you do not have to go through this alone.

You may be someone who appears to have it all together but feels overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or stuck beneath the surface. Perhaps you have spent years people-pleasing, overthinking, putting others first, or struggling to set boundaries. You may be carrying the effects of trauma or wondering whether ADHD or neurodivergence has been overlooked or misunderstood. You are ready to better understand yourself, break long-standing patterns, and create meaningful change—not just find another temporary fix.
