About
Marilyn is a kind, compassionate, non-judgmental therapist who supports people in their own personal development. She has particular interest in working with couples who may feel stuck in their relationship. Her post-graduate training in Emotional Focused Therapy helps couples break old patterns of communication that are no longer working and reconnect on a deeper level. She also works with individuals who may experience relationship issues. Her post-graduate training in Attachment Focused Psychotherapy helps clients see how their style of connecting may be preventing them from experiencing the type of relationship they desire.
Marilyn completed her masters program at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. She has also completed post-graduate training in Emotional Focused Therapy; Attachment Focused Psychotherapy; Trauma Integration Therapy; Strategies for Processing and Healing Grief; Critical Incident Stress Management; and, Suicide Intervention.
