Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed in stress, grief, or trauma, feeling as if we can't move forward. Seeking help from a professional at certain life points is normal and when we help ourselves heal, we also help those who are connected to us. We know that stress & trauma can get held in the body and time may not heal all wounds. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist (EMDRIA), with certifications also in Grief Counselling, Certified Integrative MH, Personal Trainer Specialist & offer sessions to help in areas such as PTSD, trauma, workplace single incidents, grief & loss, anxiety, stress, healing from toxic relationships, wellness etc.
My practice is guided on trauma informed, brain, body & nervous system work, attachment theory and evidence based therapies. Besides EMDR Therapy, I integrate an IFS model as well as a polyvagal, somatic interventions and holistic health model using nutrition and physical activity to wellness. Virtual evening sessions are available .
I believe that healing is possible when we focus on treatment from a holistic perspective through mind, body and spirit. I place high regard on the client therapist relationship through a caring, confidential and non-judgmental approach.
