Whether you are experiencing anxiety, a shift in mood, a loss/grief response, relationship challenges/issues, changes in family dynamics, a temporary disruption/change in career focus, various physical health challenges/new diagnoses - you may be feeling overwhelmed at the moment. That is understandable! We all need additional support sometimes. A non-judgmental listening ear; a gentle reminder of your own worth, resilience and strengths; guidance in embracing self-compassion; plus to offer positive strategic "tools" that you can readily use to work toward overcoming the challenges that you are facing and build your self-confidence.
With a career foundation in nursing, I value safe, confidential, ethical care with a trauma-informed, person-centred approach as a therapist. Collaborative partnership is essential in therapy work, as such we will endeavor to identify/prioritize your concerns, set goals that work for you and practice strategies/techniques that you can use between sessions.
Along with my tiny therapist partner Karl the Betta "Thera-FISH" we will meet you exactly where you are in your journey and provide a comfortable, safe, private space in which to connect with you. I look forward to walking alongside you on this portion of your journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I see you and hear you.
