I offer warmth, genuineness, empathy and humour as you wind your way through the complexities of living a life of meaning, despite inevitable challenges. I will hold a safe space, provide support, and help you reach your therapy goals, whether that be practical coping strategies, identifying and working with emotions past or present, or getting in touch with your inner wisdom (because we ALL have inner wisdom). I come to sessions with my own humanity open wide, because connection is a fundamental need and foundational to the work of therapy, which can be gut-wrenching and profound at the same time. I'll walk that path with you.
I offer 1:1 psychotherapy with adults; specialiting in grief, interpersonal challenges, mood (depression+bipolar), anxiety (general, social, situational), &concurrent disorders (mood+addiction). That said, you are more than your diagnosis. You are a person first and foremost. Self-awareness will be your greatest tool; a compass powered by insight and values.
I have many years of experience using a variety of approaches; CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamics, mindfulness, + others.
