I'm so glad you're here! It can take a lot of courage to take the first step and reach out for support. I have experience counselling adults, adults, and seniors and am enthusiastic about working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. I specialize in trauma and individuals diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, burnout, and issues related to self-esteem. I have also provided counselling support to individuals with disabilities as well as the families that support those individuals and am happy to work with new clients facing these challenges.
I am trained in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and a Cognitive Processing Therapy approach. As a result, we can focus on how past experiences can shape the way we view ourselves and the world. Through this focus, we can begin to address and challenge our perceived limitations and also harness our strengths and abilities to achieve our goals.
I recognize it can be difficult to open up and ask for support. I strive to foster an environment of trust and safety by bringing warmth, patience, and gratitude into the therapy room.
