I believe it takes courage and dedication to come into therapy and as a therapist I work hard to foster a safe and collaborative environment where we work together in finding ways to manage whatever is bringing you into therapy. I have over 14 years of clinical experience working with individuals and their families. I have a specialization in child and adolescent mental health; working with children, adolescents and their families as well as with transitional aged youth (up to 25 years).
I value building on the innate strengths that people bring with them to therapy and believe wholeheartedly in fostering the overall wellness of an individual, focusing on all elements of the body, mind and spirit. I offer one on one therapy, family work and parent coaching.
I received my Masters of Social Work, from the accredited University of Windsor. I am registered and in good standing with the O.C.S.W.S.S.W. I have a specialized certification in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy through the Linehan Institute and have formal training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
