I registered as a Psychologist in Alberta in 2006 and have been in practice in the public school system since 2005. Working within the school environment has allowed me a broad range of experience in conducting Psychoeducational Assessments; I have developed expertise in the areas of Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, giftedness, anxiety, and ADHD over the course of many years in the public sector. I have experience in conducting comprehensive Psychoeducational and Social/Emotional assessments for students age 6 to 17.
People who seek psychoeducational assessment for their child are often seeking a reason why certain areas of learning are more difficult than they should be (e.g. reading). My goal is to offer clarity regarding a child's cognitive, academic, and social/emotional needs in order to assist you in maximizing your child's success.
Assessments take place in a comfortable location in NW Calgary. Following the assessment, a comprehensive report is reviewed with you in person, and provided to you to share with whomever you deem appropriate. I am passionate about my profession, and about maximizing a child's academic and emotional success through thoughtful assessment and programming.
