Every client enters into therapy with different goals, challenges, and resources. My role is to listen and believe you - and from there offer my skill and experience in support of your unique process of change - whatever you want that to be. Although I work from a trauma-informed lens (knowing that we are all impacted and changed by averse events), I also incorporate a strengths-based and growth-focused mindset in the therapeutic process. My goal is for you to experience a judgement-free, useful, and supportive counselling session so that you can choose your path forward with intention and the wisdom of your experience.
I work from a feminist, relational, and humanistic perspective, taking into account the client's environment, intergenerational history, and the broad context of their lived experience. My clients are adults (19+) with concerns about mood, grief, life transitions, chronic illness, parenting or other key relationship issues, or traumatic events.
