I view counselling as a collaborative, relational, and deeply personal process grounded in science-based practice. I work with couples/other pairings, families, children, and individuals. With all of my clients, my style is warm and straightforward, incorporating curiosity, humour, and depth. My work with all clients is explicitly identity-affirming, anti-oppressive, and attentive to the unique experiences that shape who we are. I strive to create a supportive therapeutic relationship in which clients feel safe expressing themselves honestly, without fear of judgement.
I support couples and families in understanding patterns, accessing underlying emotions, and building safer, more connected relationships. With children, I foster emotional exploration and regulation within family and school/community environments. I also support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity, addictions, and life transitions.
My practice is located at Valley Inner Space Counselling and Assessment in Coldbrook, NS. I offer both in person and virtual appointments.
