Hello! My name is Nicky Texeira and I am currently an intern, on my journey of completing the Master’s in Arts Counseling and Psychotherapy at Yorkville University. I use a humanistic, person-centered approach to allow for personal, self discovery. I provide the space and freedom for my clients to express themselves at a comfortable pace. Cynthia Schoppmann, the owner of CJS Psychotherapy and Consulting Services and Registered Psychotherapist, will be my supervisor throughout the process.
Over the years, I have had extensive work experience with youth and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds who are navigating difficult interpersonal relationships. I have helped people of various ages to improve their self confidence and worth. In addition, I have provided coping strategies to those who have experienced bullying, depression, anxiety.
