Hi, I’m Nichole Ramo, a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s ups and downs. With nearly a decade in the helping field, I bring a warm, relational, and practical approach to therapy, creating spaces where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow.
I specialize in play-based therapy for children, while also supporting teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, adjustment challenges, and life transitions. I work closely with parents and caregivers as partners in supporting children’s emotional and behavioural well-being.
My approach blends person-centred, solution-focused, and CBT-informed strategies, always tailored to each person’s unique story and strengths. I also bring a culturally responsive and spirituality-inclusive lens when meaningful to clients.
Sessions are offered in English and Filipino / Tagalog.
And yes, I bring a bit of Filipino spirit into the room (warmth, humour, resilience, and the belief that healing happens best when people feel welcomed, supported, and maybe even share a laugh along the way). After all, therapy can be meaningful and human… not just serious.
