Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, or carrying more than your share? Maybe you’re trying to break cycles, navigate family pressures, or manage conflict while still getting through day-to-day life. Trauma can leave you feeling isolated, low, or unsure of yourself. Over time, it can make it hard to believe you are worthy of care, connection, and belonging. Healing can feel overwhelming or impossible - especially when it’s hard to find support that feels safe and trustworthy.
Hi, I’m Nicarla. As a psychologist of British/settler heritage, I approach my work with humility and a strong commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed care. Through my connections with Affinity Mentorship Foundation and Miskanawah, I primarily work with Indigenous youth, while also welcoming individuals from all backgrounds, over the age of 12.
In our work together, we’ll identify and explore the mind and body's protective patterns, build practical and meaningful tools, and support you in reconnecting with yourself in a grounded and sustainable way. My intention is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be real, supported enough to do the work, and respected every step of the way.
